Selling our 2003 IS300, probably the best car we've owned. We are the original owners. Bought the car at Sewell Lexus and have had it serviced continually there. The car has been terrific. It has just under 160,000 and hasn't had any problems at all. Besides the regular services, we had to have a fuel sensor replaced, but that's been it. We would have kept the car (service people at the dealership say it'll go 250,000), but we had need of something bigger. The car runs well and should for a long time. Cosmetically, the car is in good shape, but we haven't had it detailed. It has the usual paint chips on the front hood from rocks and a few small scrapes on the doors from dings. On the inside, there is one tear in the driver's side seat. I spoke to a leather repair shop and they said it'd take about $300 to repair. There are some faint scrapes just over the glovebox due to moving some boxes in and out of the car. The driver's mat is worn, but the passenger mat and the ones in the back seats are fine. It has been most a one-driver car so the interior is in good shape (except for that seat tear). There is some kind of small fan noise with the air circulation system when you first start the car up. It last about ten seconds and then stops. I don't know where it is coming from and haven't bothered to have it checked out. The A/C and the heat work fine—never had a problem with either.
