1972 Dodge Challenger REAL 340 Car w/ 4 Speed I have a 1972 Challenger 340 Car that I am considering selling. This car is a REAL H Code 340 Challenger Rallye. It was originally a 3 Speed car with console, and I converted it to a 4 Speed with Pistol Grip Shifter(New Clutch). Car also has rally guages with tach, power disc brakes, manual steering, sway bars front & rear, dual exhaust with factory tips, and TTI Headers. The car also has the 8 3/4 Rear with a 3:55 Sure Grip pumpkin, and 15 x 6.5" Ralley Wheels with New Tires! The body of this car is all ORIGINAL metal and not rusty or full of bondo! There are no replacement panels on the car, in the floors, or in the trunk floor!! The 340 engine is starting to smoke and use some oil, but still runs strong. It will need new rings/ rebuild soon. The paint on the car is from the early 1990's, and is presentable but NOT show quality. The interior panels have been replaced with new aftermarket, the dash pad has a cap on it, and the carpet has been replaced. Seats are also recovered. I also have some NOS parts that are included, mostly trim pieces, and a pair of Rechromed bumpers from Tri-City plating, and some other extras! I really hate to sell the car, but I bought a 70 Road Runner a couple of years ago, and since then I have hardly driven the Challenger. I hate to see it just sitting in the garage! You can rebuild the engine and have a nice driver, or do a full restoration of a solid car if you want! SORRY! I had to turn down a few offers so that I could add more PICS.
