Here is a real nice 98 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup up for bids with good miles. The truck only had 102,800 miles when I purchased it a couple years ago and now only has 106,347 miles (but until I sell it I will be driving it,. So the miles will be slightly higher) I never drove the truck untill this past fall/late summer (drove my other car until the trans went out) and everything is nearby so I havent put much miles on it. Title is clean. I purchased the truck from New Hampshire and drove it back home to Michigan (MetroDetroit Area) without any issues - this truck seems reliable and can be driven anywhere as I have proved that it can. Great truck for work or play. This truck has a full size 8 foot long bed. I never took it out in the mud. Only reason that I'm selling is because I needed a crew cab, got one and now need the money to finish paying it off. For the price you cannot go wrong. Clean title, no accidents, there is an odometer issue stated and the previous owner stated that someone at Secretary Of State put in the wrong miles at one point and that is why its showing up. ..according to him the miles are original. Their has been alot of work done to it as listed: The frame was coated with truck bed liner / Bottom portion of the body was coated in bed liner to protect from the elements / the bottom of doors was also coated in bed liner to prevent rust from forming / it has a 3inch lift / The throttle body is ported, and the bore plates were grinded down for more air flow / it has a JEGS Racing Y-pipe / 1" aluminum throttle body spacer / red Taylor Thundervolt plug wires(very low resistance for a stronger spark) / E3 spark plugs / Cherry Bomb turbo muffler / Open aircleaner filter(old school style), do have the original aircleaner assembly and will include it / the rims are black powercoated 15X10 BlackRocks with ProComp Xtreme Mud Terrain tires. (great shape - low miles - purchased this past summer) / Wheel locks / Sony CD player / EXTRA set of aluminum 16X8 rims with BFG All Terrain tires with decent tread on them. (look in pictures) / Lower SkyJacker tubular control arms painted silver / Trailer hitch / Complete rear brake line that runs from the master cylinder to the back of each side was replaced / The previous owner had rebuilt the transmission at 101,000 miles. ..so its basicaly like new! He also replaced the fuel pump, front rotors and pads all at the same time / there is a tech that was just slipped into a vent in the dashboard / And anything else that I may have forgetten. Motor is a strong running 318...this truck moves. Always starts right up. Trans shifts great. 4X4 works. Truck has a solid front axle! Good as is, but some TLC wouldnt hurt. Body is great! Paint shines when its clean! paint is still intact unlike other Dodge trucks of the same year that are either faded or peeling off. there is a tiny ping her and there and stratches thru out the truck, but that is expected for a 98 as with ANY car or truck. Only rust showing are some bumbles on the front passanger side hood (as seen in pictures). Interior is pretty good also, its all there including the floor mats. There is a small tear on the drivers side/top of the seat and that is due to the seat tilt lever that was rubbing against it when you "slide" on and off the seat to get in and out of the truck. All the storage shelves are also included that go behind the seats. The previous owner started to install an alarm but never finished it and I never got around to install it...I will include all the parts/wireing to it and both remotes. The alarm does have remote start. If I have a chance I will install it...but no guarantee. Now for the bad - the antenna on the truck broke (they can be found for under $20 on Ebay). The stearing wheel goes side to side with the front wheels facing straight. (look in one of the pictures, the grey tape on the steering wheel is the bottom) **Its only cosmetic(steers perfect)!!** You can just remove the stearing wheel and put it back on straight - that is it!... its due to the lift. Or leave it, it never bothered me, so I left it.
