I am the second owner of this truck, my company bought it new. This truck is for sale as a rebuilder or parts vehicle. PLEASE NOTE!: the engine is not running and partially apart. The high pressure oil pump failed while the engine was at idle. With this engine it stops as soon as it looses oil pressure so there should be no other damage. Engine was running well otherwise and would crank over but would not start. It is not locked up. Work was done at a Ford dealer and all parts are with the truck. Pictures tell the rest of the story other than the service bed which is much newer than the truck. It was replaced approximately a year prior to the truck being parked due to an accident which damaged the bed only. Truck has a few minor chips and dents and a small rust area in drivers side cab corner which is pictured. Interior is dusty but NOT torn up or abused. Truck was fleet maintained and had recent brake work and nearly new tires. There were no other problems withthe truck at the time the engine failed. It has been sitting for a year, We were going to part it but dont have the time. No warranties are expressed or implied but I do warrant accurate discription ONLY. PLEASE NOTE!!! To clarify, The truck stalled at a traffic light. We had it towed to a Ford dealer for diagnosis where they found the high pressure oil pump failed. Due to the mileage on the truck they wanted to remove the engine for inspection. Total cost of repairs would have far exceeded the value of the truck so we decided to cut our losses and stop work on it. All parts removed were put in the cab and bed. Everything appears to be there but I cannot warrant that every bolt nut and screw was placed in the truck. The utility bed was in service for only a short while before the truck was parked and is same as new save scratches on the inside of the drawers and inside the bed. If you run the auto-fax report it shows the date the accident happened. The bed sells for more money than my reserve on the truck. The rest of the truck besides the engine is in A-1 mechanical condition. There are things unhooked in the engine compartment, I am not sure if that is why or not? Miles were recorded at the dealer when they worked on the engine. We cannot get the dash to power up, this could be because of thing unhooked under the hood as I stated earlier but I do not know for sure.. Ohio law requires it to be titled as actual milage unknown in this case.. We did get another copy of work order form the Ford dealer and it states 245,000 miles. This is as close as I can be as for milage. 2. DO NOT SEND A DOWN PAYMENT IMEDIATELY AT THE END IF THE AUCTION!!!! I will be in direct contact with the winning bidder at the end of this auction and here is why. We purchased this vehicle new through a leasing agent and although it has been fully paid for I just found out that the actual title is still at the leasing company who is out of state (we are a large fleet owner). I do not want your down payment until I have the title ready to be signed to a new owner. I am being told just a couple days from today, (2/20) Please, there is no question of ownership or liens or shananigans going on, just a paperwork oversight on my part.I though seriously about cancelling this auction and going over again later this week but decided to explain it here instead.
