1939 CHEVY PU READY FOR HOT ROD RESTORATION (I AM LISTING THIS TRUCK FOR ANOTHER PERSON AND THIS IS HIS DESCRIPTION AND CONTACT INFORMATION) This truck has been my parts truck for another restoration which is finished. There is no engine, It is set it up to receive a 350 V8 engine and has a Firebird front end. Most parts are there except rear fenders, tailgate, bed floor and glass. There is a ‘79’ Firebird front end and rear axle under the truck with original frame under the cab and bed. The front of the body is elevated in the pictures as original cowling and fender liners needs to be cut to fit the firebird frame. The body is only sitting on the frame at this time and tied down with straps. So it may look a little off center in the picture's. I know the body will fit into the frame with the V-8 installed as I have a friend with such a build completed, but leave structural and fabrication decisions to a new owner. Included with the truck is a ‘350’ transmission rebuilt for my project but would negotiate otherwise if the truck doesn’t sell as described. I would also be willing to negotiate a delivery for my costs. Truck is located in Emporia, Kansas.
