This 280z runs beautifully and handles well on the highway and streets. It response very well with lots of power! This 280z was fined tuned at a certified Nissan shop that specialize on Z’S – Mikes Z Shop, Whittier, CA. This 280z has a fresh rebuilt engine that starts every time you’re ready to go. The automatic transmission shifts excellent. It has a new moderate factory color matched 2 stage paint job, original Sky Blue 510. I will include the original 1978 window sticker, purchase order, trade in paperwork, EPA and registration, photo booklet and some maintenance records. CONDITION OF VEHICLE IN SECTIONS: Engine: *Original L28 Engine with matching numbers *Engine Rebuilt / Machined – Head, Pistons, Crank, Main Seals, Rod bearing, Oil Pump, Timing Chain Kit, freeze plugs, engine block flushed, cleaned and painted. *All Connectors cleaned - sensors, clamps, throttle body, fuel injection, ground cables, new water temp sensor *New Fuel Injector connectors *Some vacuum lines replaced *Engine has great compression *All Tuned with fresh oil, NGK spark plugs, Air filter and coolant Transmission: *Original Factory Automatic 3 speed Transmission *Transmission shifts fine *Transmission Tuned with fresh fluid Exhaust: *Header with Magna Flow Muffler - medium sound. Exterior: *Painted Factory Sky Blue 510 – 2 Stage *Paint has a couple of Flaws*New 280z Stripes *Body is strong and straight *All original OEM emblems *Chrome on bumper shinny *All outside lights function *New Windshield with new rubber Interior: *Interior was gutted and cleaned out *All dash instruments work great – Gauges, lights switch, turn signals, dimmer, hazards, electric antenna and 3 speed wipers. Clock works sometimes. *Interior is in great shape *New 280z floor mats *Seats and Seat Belts work great. *Floor carpet in good shape, 2 small quarter size tears *Original spare tire, jack and lug nut wrench *Center Console opens and close *Windows and locks work fine *Door weather stripping worn out – easy fix. Air Conditioning and Heater: *Heater works great *Factory Air Conditioning – Currently awaiting for a guy to come by to refill AC system with R12 freon. System is working fine just needs freon Brakes: *All new brake fluid *Front & Rear Pads –1/2 life *Hand brake work *New rear wheel cylinders Rims and Tires: *Original Factory aftermarket Cyclone III Mags(polished) with NEW 205/60/14 tires. Title: Clear title. Title on hand. Currently listed with the DMV as non-op, so no late fees will be applied during new registration. Overall/Remarks: I personally love this car but I must part with it and I will regret it. Lots of time and effort was invested. This 280z has gone thru a full inspection of the engine, electrical, charging system, sensors, throttle body, MAF, EFI, connectors and wires. Everything seems to work as it should. The interior was gutted and cleaned out. I cannot guarantee or give a warranty on this car since it’s a 34 year old car and things could malfunction from one day to another. Here are a few things I noticed that might need attention in the near future 1.Replacement of shocks. 2. The rear hatch has a small rust spot from the louver leaking in the past 4. passenger outside tie rod has a little play. My plans are to get the Air Conditioning working by shipment or pick up, but I cannot guarantee. I’m in contact with a guy that will try to come by to refill old school R12 freon. The 280z doesn’t consume oil and has no oil leaks. No overheating. Please review all pictures for a full depiction of the condition. The title is clean and I have title on hand.
