2008 Honda CR

Hi all dirt bike enthusiast.  You are bidding on a recently completed 2008 CR 500 Aluminum Frame Conversion w/ David Bailey 1986 commemorative edition setup.  This bike has ZERO rides on it since conversion and complete engine rebuild and is in absolutely excellent condition.  This bike runs great, pulls extremely hard and has lots of life and reliability left.  The engine is has zero hours (other than light passes up and down the street) on complete rebuild.  This includes brand new transmission bearings, thrust washers, crank assembly, main bearings, OEM seals throughout, brand new clutch pack and brand new bore/piston and rings kit.  The motor is extremely snappy and fresh and will snap the front wheel up with little effort in every gear! This bike is the synthesis of a 2008 CRF 250 chassis coupled with the massively powerful late model CR 500 engine.  The conversion process includes a full cradle replacement with 6061 square radius corner tubing, 6061 CNC billet motor mounts, 5052 sheet aluminum air box adaptor plate, radiator spigot relocation, custom two sided headed stay, custom billet 6061 coil mount hanger, custom fuel tank factory built for this conversion (no heating and molding of original tank, much cleaner and safer option), rivet nut fastened exhaust hanger and custom 1 into 2 exhaust system.  This conversion was done right way and is very clean.  We have done many CR 500 aluminum frame conversions for customers both domestic and around the World!
