I have up for sale a very nice 79 trans am , It has a 400 cid 6.6 engine that runs great with new carb,plugs, wires, dist cap ,coil , bigger alt, battery , belts , etc... which is backed up by a 400 transmission that shifts out good . the milage shows 02737 which i am sure it is 102737 . the car has new paint and decals . the body is pretty stright with no rust . the interior is nice as well with new carpet, headliner, dash, stereo system, weatherstripping , new rebuild door hinges , everything looks real nice , no rips in seats or anything like that , T-tops are nice and dont leak . the passenger side floor pan looks to have had a small repair yrs ago which was done right and recoated . the glass is all good but the front windshield has a scuff mark about 2 inches long which looks like the edge of a d/a sander may have got it ..its not cracked or nothing just the scuff on from whatever got too close to it .all the lights work good except for the 2 front marker lights which maybe a bulb or fuse , not sure , but all the others work good and signals , gauges , lights , all that stuff works good . has new exhaust on it and new fuel lines . the tires have good tread but are weather cracked . it can be driven like that but i will include a almost new set of tires with the car . i will have them ready when the car is picked up . also the shaker needs the weatherstripping on but i have it and i will also put it on before the car is picked up ... now with all that said i want to say that this is no trailer queen or show car . it was built to run and run well ... if you have any questions or concerns please let me know and i will do my best to answer all . or if you can just come by and drive it for yourself, you will just love the car . i will be posting a video soon of the car running . or if you need pics of certain areas let me know . 500 dollar deposit due 24 hours after auction ends and balance with in 7 days . buyer responsible for pic up or delivery . i have had a lot of interest in the car and just wanna say thanks for that . i do have pics of the underneath that i can send to anyone if needed . just send me your email address and i will send them right out . a few questions on if the engine is a 400 pontiac or 403 olds , and it is a 400 pontiac . i did find that under neath is a spot on the floor about the size of a quarter that i didnt see when i looked before so i wanted to make it clear to everyone and that the parking brake cable is broke so the parking break doesnt work .and if you need a pic of these then let me know , the front two seats are cloth and the back are leather also .. guys i just wanna say again the the car is not perfect or mint .. if it was i wouldnt be asking a 1/3 of what those cars cost . but for the price this is a really great deal . it is a lot nicer that alot of these cars i have seen go for more money . and you wont be disappointed .
