Vehicle Detail

You are looking at and hopefully will be the new owner of a custom 1984 SE Fiero. The following has been completed on this car. -3800 V6 conversion completed. Engine was removed from a wrecked 1992 Buick Lesabre (series 1 engine) with 68,000 miles on it. -Wiring harness completed and installed (OBD 2 engine and computer into OBD1 car) -$300 worth of red Cyberdyne digital gauges installed (new gas tank sender is needed) -New CV shaft (passenger side), brakes, ignition module, alternator, battery, cables, etc -The plastic heater fitting that ALWAYS breaks on GM engines has been replaced with a metal one. -Power steering pump has been removed from the engine and the serpentine belt system rerouted (The Fiero has factory manual steering) -New Fuel Pump -New tires -Fiat X 1/9 side scoops integrated into the rear quarter panels -Pontiac Firebird turbo scoop inlet integrated into rear deck lid. Firebird Rear wing. -Opel 1900 rear tail lights (looks like a Ferrari from the rear) rear deck eyebrowed around the taillights -Custom exhaust with a Thrush welded muffler. Factory tube headers on the 3800 Minor things you should know about-The engine runs great but sometimes takes a couple of turns of the key to fire. (all ignition components are new)-The windshield is cracked-Seats are a typical worn out Fiero so seat covers are on them. New interior seat skins were started but not completed and go with the car. -The headlights have the typical Fiero and Firebird issues so we leave them in the UP position, (one headlight needs a new gear, the other seems fine) -Factory stereo does not work and needs to be replaced. -We replaced the hood after a scoop we installed cracked (seen in one of the pics... the hood on the car IS NOT the orange and black hood…. We haven’t painted it yet and it is still faded black -Paint job is decent but far from perfect. The Omaha Orange was carried over into the interior and door jambs. There are a few blemishes in the paint.- The engine has an AC compressor attached and the car was an A/C car so it just needs to be hooked up and wired in - We have a set of the louvered engine covers that go with the car but need to be stripped and refinished- I have listed the mileage at 100000 and the actual mileage on the chassis is just over that. The transmission has less than 10 miles on it and the engine has just over 68,000.- The car is sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY. Ga does not require a title on cars before 1986 and we bought it without one. What the car needs: -The Transmission has a fresh rebuild on it but refuses to shift. It has new clutches, steels, soft parts and a kevlar band. The governor is good and it may just be a valve body. (@ $125) Goes FAST in first and reverse but you WILL NEED to tow this car it cannot be driven on the road yet due to the transmission issue.-The car has been sitting for some time and therefore needs a battery (top post not a side post) This car was my sons car while he was in college and a father and son project. We have over $3000 invested in the car but have set the reserve LOW. We have too many projects and this one has to go (momma says the driveway is looking like a car graveyard :^P. If momma aint happy, nobody's happy.) The triple tip exhaust in the engine running video was a prototype and the exhaust was converted back to the stock location (dual tip on drivers side)With the exception of the picture of the car with the headlights down the car was wet from just being washed when the pics were taken. The hood is NOT gloss black. it is faded flat black. If you have any questions please e-mail me and I will do my best to answer all questions.Additional pictures and a video of the engine running can be seen here: http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii247/Bumblebee604/84%20Fiero%203point%208%20conversion/
