1958 CHRYSLER 300D RARE PROJECT HEMI 392 CALIFORNIA CAR BLACK PLATE , LOW MILES 22940 ,BARN FIND!!!! The 1958 model year was to be the last use of the old FirePower Hemi in the 300. The engine was still 392 cu in (6.4 L), but tuned to 380 hp (280 kW) as standard. Thirty-five cars were built with fuel injection and delivered 390 hp (290 kW), but the fuel injection system was troublesome and most cars soon had it replaced with the standard twin-quad carburetor setup. Car was re-registered in 1983 with a new title! The owner exercised the vehicle monthly to insure all mechanical aspects stayed in working condition till 1993. The vehicle is said to be original except for one repaint in 70s. The vehicle has been refinished in yellow and done to professional standards,originally car was white.Car comes equipped with power steering and power brakes.Under the hood boasts the desired 392 Hemi with push button automatic transmission .Motor turns over didnt start the car because fuel lines not clean,car was running last in 1999-2001.All fluides where flushed before car parked .Car comes equipped with A/C ,power seat , power windows, radio .
