Vehicle Detail
Hi there. I am selling my 1971 Mercedes. I just got it out of the Museum where it was stored in the last year. It's certainly a daily driver and you will enjoy tis car. This car is in great shape. I drove it regularly in 2010 and who ever purchases it can just come and drive her home. There is nothing wrong with the car and It gets wonderful 32 mpg on her small 4 cylinder heart. It is Registered, insured and has a clear title of course. Ask me any questions and I will answer you. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you and good luck. On Feb-03-12 at 12:24:21 PST, seller added the following information: Hi there here are the most questions that I answer. The car had 3 owners including me. It never had a big repair done to it, just service as the son of the first owner told me. No leaks. Uses little oil. Original paint. The speedometer sometimes wiggles a bit. But counts the miles. The car has been sitting from the 90's until 2010. Than I bought it and drove it. Just around town in Boulder, Sometimes to Denver and 2 big trips. Everything works well ever since. I would still say that a car in this age should not forced to be driven all the way to the other side of the state. Would I do it? yes, but I know the car and know what to do if something ever happened. If you are good with cars I thing it is okay to say yes. If you don't know cars then I would say no because with a car of that age something can happen to the best of us. Also consider the different elevation,. By the time you get to lower elevation you probably need to adjust the Carburetor. I picked it up from the Museum 2 nights ago. It was sitting for a long time. I checked the fluids. And started it right up in the cold winter night top drive it 50 miles home. All was fine. The car is great and honest was in the museum the last year, I need to sell it. If I would keep it I would a mechanic to check the whole thing and give it a tune up. I hope that helped.
