Up for auction is my 1973 Super Beetle. Condition is very good, interior is very good, even has the original radio. I bought this back in 2006, and I replaced all the inner and outer wheel bearings. I only drove it on nice days. Its a real nice car, but I just dont have the time now to enjoy it. I replaced the odometer with a refurbished one, and it works well. The paint job is pretty good, but could stand to be repainted if you want to show it. The tires are in excellent shape. The interior is in excellent shape, I beleive the whole interior has been restored before I bought it. The front steering has been replaced with polyurethane bushings. You can drive down the road at any cruising speed with no shimmy at all. I replaced the exhaust with what you see as headers, and sounds good. The one thing I know it needs is the windows are kinda hard to roll up and down, and the drivers side window lever is broke. I have been told to have these windows working smooth, is not a hard thing to do, I have been deployed overseas, and I have no time. The floor pans are in very good shape, with no need for repairs at all. There is no warranty, sold as is where is. Pickup is by the buyer, no shipping offered. I have more, but I will need to send them to you on request, Ebay says I am maxed out on the pictures. On Feb-03-12 at 12:57:36 PST, seller added the following information: I noticed the other day 2 wheel cylinders were leaking, I replaced both of them, but the brakes still need to be bled. I have reduced the reserve to compensate. It still drives fine, the second pump of the brake gives full pedal.
