Vehicle Detail

1932 Chevrolet roadster for sale. Here is your chance to buy a cool hot rod without the 32 Ford price. I love it when people try and bust my chops about putting a small block Chevy in that Ford. This car started life out as a coupe.  The frame is a new Brookville Roadster model A frame and was powdercoated black. The front end is from Chassis Engineering and has a Pete and Jakes disc brakes on the front w/stainless braided lines. Steering reducer on the front shocks ,pan hard bar and mounts are from Pete and Jakes. The motor is a Professionals rebuilt 350 with 327 heads from Paul’s Machine shop in Springdale Arkansas, about 3000 miles on the entire powerplant, Edlebrock intake, Mallory unilite distributor, Edlebrock finned valve covers, MSD coil. MSD 8 gauge wires. Mild cam,, custom headers with removable baffles. The transmission is a 60’s rebuilt powerglide with a shift kit and Lokar shifter. New 3500 stall Hughs torgue converter Original Vega steering box, panhard bar on front and rear from So-Cal Speedshop. New Coker white walls, they still have blue marks from the pacing tape on them, the rear wheels are vintage reverse chrome and the fronts are vintiques new ones with 1940 ford hubcaps. The drive shaft was custom made at Larry’s driveshaft. The rear end is a Ford 8 inch set up with new Richmond 3:73 gears. Every bearing, seal nut and bolt is new in this car. Only Grade eight bolts were used. The rear shocks are coil overs. The Grill is a real Ford steal . The radiator is new. Water pump and starter are also new. The steering column is new stainless from speedway motors. The steering wheels is vintage – I know I have owned it 20 years or more and it was old when I got it. The Dash is new 32 from Brookville roadster with moon gauges that read 6,000 miles. All of the wiring is new from painless and has a 21-fuse panel. 1950 Pontiac tail lights. New So-Cal headlights and mount.  The entire inside and underneath was sprayed with Gator Guard bed liner to insure years of rust free use. The whole car was sanded to bare medal and put into etch primer and sprayed with black Lacquer. The car has never been buffed out to give it an older look. All of the wood was removed and new steal was welded in.  The battery is new. The brake pedal is Brookville roadster and the master cylinder came from Pete and Jakes. The fuel Tank is a spun aluminum tank from speedway motors. Spun aluminum air cleaner from speedway motors. This car drives like a dream. It starts up every time and you could drive it anywhere. The little roadster will go down the interstate at 70 all day. It drives straight with your hands off the wheel. If you add the price of the parts up, it’s less than my reserve with NO labor. I know I am forgetting something. Please email me with any questions.  This is not some cobbed together  piece of junk like many others. This car was built with the best stuff and an old body. Please ask questions..     jrervin@uark.edu I can store for a while if you need sometime to pick it up or arrange shipping. I can also deliver the car to the Lone star Round up. I recently purchased an out of state car an had it shipped with no worries- just call Hagerty and put insurance on it – you van get full coverage for theft and shipping before you even receive the car for about 100 bucks per year. This will give you such piece of mind. I have more photos of the car when it was being built in bare steal before the powder coat shop that I will post later this week I can also email you a video if you wanted to see something or hear it run.     The car has a clear Arkansas tittle (its is titled as a 1932 Roadster)
