Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1997 Acura CL. The car has 202k miles, all highway - I use the car to commute from Suffolk to Westchester County daily. New car on the way, but this car has done its job with minimal/no maintenance. The car always gets 30+ mpg per tank, even in rush hour, etc. Car is equipped with sunroof, CD stereo, power everything, cold a/c, original Acura aluminum wheels, and much more! Everything works on the car, tires are good, brakes/battery recently done, current NYS inspection valid until next fall, no check engine lights/leaks. Interior is absolutely mint, body is in good shape. Please check out pics, I included all blemishes (paint is slightly faded on hood/front fenders, rear pass side bumper is scratched), but overall it looks nice. The only issue with car is that the 5 speed manual does not engage in 4th gear (I was told it needs bearing re-built?). The car still drives great, I just shift from 3rd to 5th - acceleration is smooth, and tranny is smooth in all other gears. Please contact me to arrange an inspection of vehicle prior to auction ending, and feel free to bring mechanic, etc. Besides 4th gear issue, car runs great! Check my 100% feedback, and bid with confidence! On Jan-31-12 at 08:42:30 PST, seller added the following information: A couple more things: yes, they are power seats. The car does drive now, I still use it.....like I said in ad, I just shift from 3rd-5th (I would advise buyer to fix bearing on 4th gear asap). I checked with a local Honda/Acura mechanic, he said it would cost around $500 to fix. That is the reason for a low price, when that is fixed - you can have a perfect running car that looks good for approximately $2k! No: I am not going to end the auction early, either place a bid, or use the Buy-It-Now. Also, if you have a rating less than 5, you must send a $250 deposit via Paypal within 2 hours of auction ending (make sure your funds are available). Thank you again for bidding, and good luck!
