1971 Cutlass Convertible with 442 equipment. NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS THEN BID !!!! INSPECT FIRST !!!! BID SECOND !!!!! Older restoration , this would make a nice car to restore and make perfect or use like it is. 1971 Olds Cutlass convertible that has 442 equipment but isn't a 442 . V-8 Buckets, Center console, Power windows, Power steering, Power Brakes, Power convertible top, Working In-Dash Tachometer, Power disc front brakes, Front + rear Sway Bars, 5 Rally Wheels , rear bumper cut-outs and more …………………. The paint and body looks pretty nice considering the age but is not perfect. The paint is a base-coat clear that was sanded and buffed when done and still has a nice shine. The chrome still has a shine but could be done for perfection. The rear bumper is nicer than the front. This car was restored probably 15 or 20 years ago. At that point it had 2 full rear quarter panels installed. Also the floor and frame had some areas worked on. but looks ok. . Looks like the rear crossbrace has been changed. The trunk looks to be original and solid. The convertible top is in nice shape and has a glass rear window. The motor runs very smooth and the transmission shifts well. It starts right up cold and goes on choke. I believe it is a 350. The casting # looks to read 395558 The duals sound real nice out the split rear bumper cut-outs. The power windows all work , may need a couple switches at some point. As does the conv top works but the switch needs alittle wiggle sometimes. The car goes down the road nice . I'm told that 90,521 is the correct mileage but I have no way to verify that. The spare tire and jack is with the car. Other things I see that work are the wipers, heater blower motor, stereo, emergency brake etc. the horn is inop. I bought the car last year in the next state over in RI and used it on a transport plate so I didn’t register it so I will give the paperwork to the new owner just as it was handed to me. RI is a non title state like many of these upper states are and so What is required to get it registered is the last registration and a reassignment / bill of sale which was signed and handed to me. You can fill in the buyers section and get plates. Please feel free to bring your mechanic and inspect the car to be sure it meets all your expectations. This description is mearly my opinion. Everyone has different expectations. Selling as is. 300.00 deposit is due immediately following the auction end. Balance due within 5 days. A check is fine but will need atleast one to two weeks to clear my bank before car or paperwork leaves. This is what my bank has told me. Cash if you are looking to pick up the car personally.
