Vehicle Detail

OK I am relisting this car for WAY less $$$$$$, $1000 less. I have become more realistic that basically I am going to lose my butt. BUT I do not feel physically good enough to finish it, nor do I have the $$$$ to finish it, SOOO hopefully one of you guys out there will want it.PLEASE ask me for additional photos before you bid. I have an album that if you just send me your home email I will send you the album. Please realize this car does drive, start, run and stop, BUT it has a ton of pieces you will need to be able to pick up incuding most of the glass and all the interior. good thing, you can see what is wrong and what you need to do, bad thing, it is in pieces,. It is sold where is, as is, no warranty. If you want me to call you, send me your number, I will call you back and answer whatever questions you want. Last time I had the BIN at $4500 I think, this time it is down to $3500 and I have also lowered the reserve by a like amount. The car is in Orange, Va. 22960!!! OK here it is, have at it, BUT please ask me for the pictures with your home email, you can tell by my "198" eBAY record all positive I am not out to get you!!! i just want you to know what you need to know! This car will STILL be lots of work, but not as bad as when I bought it for sure!!! Below is the last ad, since then I have the door panels back from the upholster complete!! The headliner still hangs down but I have a new one.......what new parts I have are shown in the picture album. last time I kept getting asked if I have the interior YESSSSSSS I have the interior, it is NOT recovered but it is usable " as is". You will notice maybe the hood has some bondo at the nose, I have ground that out to see what is there, I have another hood!!!! goes with the car.......I know I am forgetting something, but this is a 43 year old car, expect to have to work...... Previous ad still mostly all true:THIS IS STILL A PROJECT CAR THOUGH I HAVE MOSTLY ALL THE SHEET METAL PART! !! I have worked on this car off and on for 2.5 plus years. All sheet metal except for some minor stuff with the hood and around a molding peice is fixed ( trunk pan replaced and welded in, two front floor pans, cowl had to be fixed, windshield channel fixed, area around rear tail lights, several patches on the quarters, ALLLLLL welded in with metal and mig welder then blocked with filler and scratch putty, I have bought new carpet, insulation for under carpet, door panels ( still at upholsterer who is very busy), headliner ( waiting for same upholsterer to have time to do that), 4 wheel drum has all new wheel cylinders, new lines where needed and new master cylinder, original power glide tranny has been fixed of all leaks and workls well, floor shifter, bucket seats, my title is verified by previous owner at 72,870 plus original roughly, motor is 350 OLDS two barrel still original, never rebuilt, runs pretty good , car runs and drives, and stops, I have run it around my shop building yard a bunch testing it but as you will see, it is NOT on the road. I have all the glass but it is not re-installed yet. Basically I am 54 almost 55, two surgically repaired shoulders, and I am tired of the project, it happens to a bunch of us, I was NEVER planning for it to be a show car, it was/is going to be a driver if I end up keeping it. At this point I picture it as a great father son project, YOU have to finish putting it back together or however far you want to go. I swear the hard parts have been done ( well unless you want to do it over frame up!!! I bet I have double in it what I am asking though I cannot prove it. One quarter panel has bondo in it from it looks like a fender bender years ago. If you buy the car, I am going to pick up the door panels at the upholster and include them of course with the car at whatever stage he has them, please before you bid or not bid, email me and I will send you the photo album invite as I mention below, also email me with any questions. If I cannot get my reserve, well I will probably just keep it and keep on working on it over the years as long as I last ha ha~! I have more pictures already set up in a photo album. I can send an "invitation" to you to see the album of the CURRENT condition of the car but I will need your email address that is NOT your eBay address. I also took photos of everything I did all along BUT I do not have those already set up in an album, most people I have found just want to see what it looks like now so that is what is in the album. I reserve the right to cancel bids from bidders with less than 10 feedback or from people outside of the United States, I have run into trouble before with that. I want to keep my rating at 100%, so anything you are not clear about, please check with me! Thanks! On Jan-15-12 at 05:09:01 PST, seller added the following information: adding this 1/15/12........I have no idea if the link to the pictures will work, but here it is..........if it does not, I need your email http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/creativeapps/slideShow/Main.jsp;jsessionid=1A44B238458796CF0C02A90DA4F8B73D.ecom102_main?sourceId=533754321803&cm_mmc=Share-_-Personal-_-Email-_-Sharer-_-Images&_requestid=15769 On Jan-16-12 at 05:17:50 PST, seller added the following information: 1-16-12.........the description should say " I have DONE most if not all" of the sheet metal part. eBay does not seem to let you change your text like they used to.On Jan-29-12 at 01:55:24 PST, seller added the following information: added Sunday morning Jan 29, 2012. I want to make it clear to those who asked for and have seen the photos, I will be glad to answer any questions about those photos. Also the keystone mags and tires do NOT go with the car!! they are just there to put the glass on!!! I have the stock set of wheel covers that go with the existing wheels and tires on the car.
