Original rims that are hard to find. The Toronado was the first American front wheel drive. I have owned this car for over ten years. I drove this amazing automobile as a daily driver. It was always a pleasure. It is a head turner and you must have patience because everyone you run into wants to tell you his or her story of once owning or knowing a Toronado. The stories usually end the same. “I can’t tell you how much I regret selling that car” Circumstance has made it so I had to park the car about 4 years ago. I have not turned the car over since. At the time that I parked the Toro, it was running beautifully. The car is rusted badly were the vinyl top was. It needs a new exhaust and much love. The Interior is in pretty clean shape as is the rest of the body other than the obvious. It is in very sturdy shape. This car is an American classic with wonderful history and is almost extinct. Obviously, Oldsmobile did not want anyone to experience problems with the new design.
