Replaced with a J-type overdrive tranny from another TR6 Original Pimento Red color resprayed to show quality, on top of several layers of top quality primer and epoxy primer. This is not a base coat / clear coat paint job. It is as original, with a single stage paint. Hours of painstaking finish sanding and polishing paid off for the final product. Upholstery is the original Chestnut color, and in excellent condition Engine fully rebuilt and a strong running example. Cylinders were bored to .040 over. Frame was stripped, and strengthened with gussets for all "common problem areas", welds were relaid where necessary, and frame was coated in rust-resistant paint. Any of the minor imperfections (minor door-dings and the like) were hand-hammered, skim-coated, then shot with Etching primer, High build primer, and capped with Epoxy primer prior to having color applied. Color spray covers the entire body, inside all panels, and underneath. All suspension parts were powder coated black for the durability of the finish Original Tonneau Cover and original Chestnut Boot cover (cover for convertible top when stowed) are included.
