1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4x4. AMC 360 V8 which runs great. Automatic transmission and 4x4 drivetrain all function properly. The exhaust is newer and the tires are nearly brand new. All power equipment works. a/c works but blows warm. The rear power tailgate window even works. the body is very solid overall, but has some rust at rear wheel wells....nothing major. The top painted surfaces are faded as most of these vehicles are. A few of the negatives: left front power window will not roll up all the way ( needs a regulator replaced), interior is worn but complete.....not terrible, but it has typical wear for a vehicle this age, needs some brake work to be safe, has a power steering hose leak, and the alternator needs replaced. None of this is a big deal, but once these few things are replaced this will be able to be driven anywhere. These drivetrains are bullet proof. The AMC 360 engine alone is worth what I am asking, let alone Dana axles, and a These vehicles are getting harder to find and have gotten to be highly collectable. I did not make the repairs before selling in order to keep the price down, but with the drivetrain, tires, exhaust etc being in such mechanically good shape, this is a great value. On Jan-23-12 at 19:21:56 PST, seller added the following information: I just pulled the Wagoneer out of storage this past weekend, and wanted to update the description with a few details I experienced......as you can see in the pictures there is rust at the rear wheel wells, as well as a little more around the front wheel wells and lower door/fender area, I also want to clarify..as I stated, the power steering has a leak, and the power steering pump whines as a result of low fluid, and will most likely need replaced. I do have the matching alloy rim for the right rear, but that tire was damaged so the spare is now on, but the tire was replaced and will need to be switched to the alloy rim and then all 4 will match. The headliner is sagging. The engine is a Jasper replacement with far less miles on it than the original, but it an exact duplicate of the original equipment. It has been in the vehicle for years, but does have less miles than the body. None of this varies from the original posting, but I just want to make sure that the buyer knows all the negatives so there is no mis-representation. If this affects the person who put in the initial opening bid, I will be happy to let you retract your bid. I am a very honest person, and just got a chance to go over the vehicle a little closer over the weekend when I pulled it out of storage. I still stand behind what I said in the original posting...this is a great vehicle for this price range, and is highly collectible.
