This auction was previously halted for an infraction in ebay policy of having our website link attached. Please forgive us if you were offended. We also found out after the last auction was ended that we might have misidentified this little guy. We now believe it to be an earlier model Z50M. We're told, by more knowledgable Honda afficianados, that the frame, wheels, exhaust and forks show that it is more than likely a Z50M and NOT a later model Z50 as it was previously listed as. We did a little poking and realized that it is actually a Honda 70cc engine from what is likely a C70 or other machine. It is NOT as slow as its size might lead one to believe. It is not perfect and has been modified, but its rarity is nonetheless something that should increase its value. This little guy is a favorite around our shop and we've ridden it many times, but the shop is full. Even though this one is tiny, space is scarce and it's time to let this one go on to a new owner. What you see is what you get......a great bike with a great look to it. It was obviously restored at some point as the finish of the tank and frame is a non-factory paint job. I did not personally build this bike, but someone took great care at some point to modify this one correctly. With a fully-operational hand clutch, great paintwork and an over-sized carb. It has WAY more power than the average Z50 that I've ridden. If you look closely at the photos, you'll find lots of little custom touches that were included to make it stand out as a custom. It even has a keyed-ignition. It has a K&N air filter and I put a brand new carb on it about a month ago. It runs great and is ready for action! It isn't perfect by any stretch of the means with nicks and scratches and some surface rust on the rear frame, but the photos tell the story. It's a great little bike and it honestly presents even better than the photos show. The tank paint is in great shape and the looks more recent than the rest. Thus, please bid accordingly with the knowledge that it is not a pure thoroughbred made by Honda, but a loved and cared for custom bike with some nice features. It runs well and any Z50 fan should be happy to sport it around and with a 70cc engine and a real clutch, this bike is ready to go fast. The reserve has been lowered accordingly. THANKS!
