Hello and thank you for looking. I am selling a 1957 Willys Jeep CJ5 that I have owned for about 7 months. The prior owner owned this vehicle for over 20 years. What he told me is that it was used on his ranch for many years but has been parked in a carport for the past 10 years. Because of this long storage the Jeep needs a little TLC and tuning to make it off-road worthy. i.e. I don't trust it to take me anywhere at the moment. This jeep is in a "project" condition. It is not running but does start. The jeep has been in New Mexico as far back as the history goes so little to no rust exists and even what is there is only minimal surface rust from what I can tell. I had intentions of fixing this great ride up but ran out of time and money. There is not much that needs to be done and any person with the right set of tools, time and education can get this baby road worthy in no time. It will need to be picked up locally and hauled off on a trailer as it is not driveable at the moment. I did drive it when I bought it (40+ miles) and it was a blast. It can be again without much effort.
