1982 Ford E350 Flatbed (Former Ambulance) 460 V8 C6 Super Duty 550 Rear End BIG POWERThank the Lord for the Big Block Ford This is an ambulance that has been converted into a flatbed truck. It was a van and now it's a truck. We call it the "Vuck." Engine is a Ford Big Block 460 V8 with a big Edelbrock 1406 carburetor on top. Has power brakes — disc on the front, drum on the rear. Power steering. Transmission is the tough, heavy duty Ford C-6 three-speed automatic. Ratios are 1st: 2.46:1, 2nd: 1.46:1, 3rd: 1:1. Rear end is the bulletproof Ford Super Duty 550 with dualie tires. Not sure of the axle ratio, but it feels low, with a fast take-off. Two vertical open-pipe stacks for exhaust. Loud, obnoxiously loud. Flatbed has stake holes for gates. Runs great. Starts and pulls strong. Brakes are weak. Transmission shifts well. Looks like it might need a new radiator and battery soon. I'm selling this for a friend, so if you email give me a little time to ask him questions and write you back with the answers. We love it, but it's an old truck, so it's offered for sale strictly in "as is" condition. He has clear title and can sign it over to you on pickup. Bidding starts at just $1, no reserve.
