1978 Honda CVCC second generation "Micro Car". This little Honda has been stored in the front corner of a garage and covered for the last 25 years or so. It has never been restored, wrecked, rusted or messed with in any way.And i mean, not so much as a tiny bubble etc!!! Having just 43K original miles it is nearly as new as when sold. Absolutely no rust of any kind anywhere on this little car. Everything works as it should and makes upwards of 48 MPG. Starts excellent and has the original manual choke. Also has a new carb, started and much, much more, but kept all the original parts for rebuild at a later time. Interior is as close to perfect as can be expected after 33 years. Could stand a slight deatail as it is as it was put away 25 plus years ago!!! Seats have been covered since new. (original seat covers from 78 changed about 5-years ago to the saddle blankets) It has the standard transmission and all original drivetrain. Tires are like new but old. New battery, fresh tune-up, fuel tank done etc., to make sure she was ready for the road again. Does smoke to an extreme, just on start up due to valve guides/seals, but clears up and stays clean from then on. (Smokes about 5-+10 minutes or so) then you can drive all day and no smoke, till it sits and you start her up again. I wanted to fix the little car adn due to health and other things, i just dont feel i will get to her to finish what she needs, which really isnt much. So after much thought, i will offer her to be sold, only if for a decent price. Keep in mind, the age and storage. And best of all, it is the very rare Yellow in color. Hardly ever see these little Hondas anymore, especially as clean and low miles as this one. I have seen just a handfull of others ever advertised, but had at least some rust or other cosmetic issues. Yes she needs a little work, but very little to be an excellent driver in todays economy and high priced time for fuel.Will maintain speeds like a normal car. I have owned a couple of these when they were new and always wanted another, but just too much going on in my life to save everything!! If looking for a gas mizer for a few hundred dollars, please look on. Another 25 years of storage is certainly no problem. Sorry, just want to weed out the few that want her for nothing. I guess with the hint that gas is going up in the spring has everyone wanting a gas mizer. Yes, the little car drives extremely well. Goes down the road great and everything works as it should. Other than the before mentioned repairs, it needs nothing. Lots of requests for the reserve, it is fair for what the car is. It is well under $10K. I have seen only a handfull of these little cars for sale and most are between $7-$12K. And most are rusty in one way or another. I am adding a "Buy It Now" to give all a chance at her.
