Since this truck is the same age as me, I thought it'd be fun to restore it, but I didn't get very far. I replaced all the front brake lines, cylinders, and shoes. I got the engine running but it burns oil and has very little pressure so I bought another 223 ci which IS included in the sale. However, the new/rebuilt engine is not fully assembled. All the parts have been in my garage in boxes on a pallet and shelves coated with oil and covered. The crank and cam are covered and wrapped so I did not unwrap them for pictures. The yellow plastic bag in the pictures is covering the block. The pistons are in the one box, as shown. I had the gas tank cleaned and re-lined. I haven't had it running for a few years. It would probably be easier for me to help you load it than to mess with starting it, but it would start given a little tinkering. When I did take it for a drive there was a knock in either the rear-end or transmission. Not sure what something like this would be worth so starting the bid at $500. There may be a possibility I could haul the truck more south toward Minnesota/Iowa/Missouri after purchase and for a fee. Thanks for looking.
