This particular 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was heavily influenced from the exterior of the 1970s mustang Mach 1. In addition to the matte black spoiler and hood stripe, flat black chin spoiler, Mach 1 rocker panel stripes and Mach 1 badging on the rear, there were also faux Magnum 500 polished 17x8 alloy wheels. A retro themed interior was included with well bolstered dark grey leather seats featuring 70's style "Comfort Weave" textures, a 1970s style gauge cluster and a machined aluminium shift ball. The outside paint of this one is as if it has been garage kept. In the sun you really see that Ford Torch Red come to life. Probalbly one of of the more classic and collector colors to own this unique Ford Mustang Mach 1. Under the hood you get the famous All-Aluminum 32 valve 4.6 liter (281 CID) V-8. producing on paper 305 horsepower. Some reviews of the cars show people that state that this year Mach 1 engine produced similar peak horsepower and substantially more torque that your earlier SVT cobras. Some similarities to the Cobra are commonly known by Mach 1 owners as an "R" code DOHC, (for the unique VIN engine R code) this all-aluminium engine features the same high flow heads as the 2003–2004 SVT Cobra. One of the biggest differences from all other mustang was the unique Shaker Hood that realy gives this Mach 1 a lot more agressive effect from the exterior as it also acts as a Ram AIr induction for the engine. This was a very brief description of this vehicle but you really have to see how nice it is. You get everything from the unique Mach 1 Shaker hood, to the all powerful, all aluminum 32 valve 4.6L V8.
