1973 Firebird Formula 455, 400 Turbo Transmission, Posi Traction Rearend, Headers, Dual Exhaust. Very Fast. Just to clarify I bought this car with a 455 cu in engine and was told by the person I bought it from it is a Formula 455. I never did a Vin search, but a fellow ebayer says he checked and it is an original Formula 400. Well now it has a Rebuilt 455 out of a 1973 Gran Prix-less than 10,000miles on rebuild.The Good: Have all window trim pieces,extra set of Heads And Headers, Bottom door plates, 2 extra sets headlight shells(chrome), Blinker shells, 2 sets chrome blinker trim w/lenses, 3 extra sets of fixable Grill inserts and 2 other grill inserts for passenger side,3 drivers side mirrors(2 black bullett style & 1 chrome square type) extra console shifter, both armrests in Great condition, door panels in great condition also,extra set of blue Moroso Valve covers,New starter, water pump, Master cylinder,power steering pump & hoses,excellent headliner & visors. Ram air hood(vents closed off) Good Carpet, Tilt steering. The Bad : Seats need to be re-covered(frames are good) lid on console storage needs to be re-done,after market air cleaner that doesn't fot correctly, wiring needs to be cleaned up, rust on drivers side fender, rust on panel between back window & trunk lid,lower front valance needs to be replaced,top of Dash is cracked. I have 1 Pontiac emblem & 1 Formula 455 emblem. My nephew has been using this as a daily driver However it is still a PROJECT. Needs work to finish but is a strong runner.
