Vehicle Detail
This is one of your more rare GTOs..The title is in the original owners name yet with 1 mile reading on it.I can give the new buyer his phone number. He has some good stories to tell about the car. This is a factory Black Ram Air III car with a muncie 4 speed ,posi rearend and factory hide away head lights...The car runs super strong with a recent engine rebuild. Has 433 gears now but I have the original gears that came new in it.I have the original WS engine block but not in the car now.(freshy bored) .The Ram heads are on the 400 engine in the car now.I believe it is a 1967 400 engine block. The engine really boogys.I can let the clutch out in second gear and then punch it and both the tires will go up in smoke.Ive olny driven the car about 10 miles myself. The car is very solid and has been garaged a lot.No rust in floors or frame.Minor rust on the very bottom of fenders and quarters. The truck floor was sand blasted and respatterd painted to the correct color. The interior is in great condition.I put new carpet in it.Dash is in super shape also.It could use a new head liner and it is white and getting dingy looking. The paint on it has chips and some flaking. The original owner said he wanted to order a all black Ram Air IV Judge. But for the extra money he deceded to go with a all black Judge with a Ram III as it was only rated 4 to5 HP less .When the car finnaly came in it didnt look like what he ordered. It had white interior and no Judge stripes. The original owner told me the dealer informed him it was a Judge with strip delete. So do your research on that one!As far as the interior the dealer had anouther 69 GTO on the lot with black interior so he swapped it out for the new buyer. As I did find out the interior story is true.I found the build sheet for the other GTO in the front and back seat of this car.And the car was sold at the same time at the same dealer. The rims have been restored, sand blasted and repainted with new center caps. The tires are about 80-90 tread and I was told they are original good years and not new reproductions...I found the tires at a swap meet and he said they were newer take offs that were stored in a garage attic for years.... The ram air set up is complete on the car to my knowledge but does need work as it was sticky so I removed it off of the hood. On Jan-14-12 at 04:15:56 PST, seller added the following information: I do have the PHS docs showing that the car is a Ram Air III,Black on black,m20 ,4 speed and 355 posi rearend.I have the original, block ,intake and heads.Between the running engine in the car and the original engine there is enought parts to build the original engine back up minus the gasket set..On Jan-15-12 at 09:42:28 PST, seller added the following information: Trans tag reads 9798972...(69 pontiac GTO) 660 case for 68-70 cars and the P number is P9B08A..That means it is a M20 built in Febuary 1969 .So that means the transmission in the car was built 1 month before the car was built.March 69..I was also told by the owner that bought the car new that he never replaced the tranny.I believe it is the orignal transmission .(not P0B08A listed in questions)..MisprintOn Jan-16-12 at 06:58:27 PST, seller added the following information: The original owner told me he has the protecto plate and the original purchase receipt yet. He just needs to do some digging to find were he put them..On Jan-16-12 at 11:38:30 PST, seller added the following information: I had a question about payment. It is due in full within 1 week with either bank wire ,cash or check but check must clear or be verified before hand.. $500 Deposit due with 24 hours of end of auction with paypal ,wire transfer or over nite check...I wont do paypal on full amount unless buyer wants to pay the extra 2.9 % on the pay pal fees..
