I bought this car in 2007 to rebuild and make a highway gas saver. This car has saved me over $7400 in 4 years. Newer engine installed at 183000 in 2008. Newer transmission put in Dec 2009. Also has new AC, Stock Muffler, Alternator, Distributor, Timing Belt, Water Pump, Interstate Battery, Front Brakes and Rotors, Speedometer Cable, Fuel Filter, Valve Cover. Since I put engine in, I have always run ROYAL PURPLE oil in it and Lucas Gas Treatment. Car functions well and gets 32-40 MPG. Car could use some minor interior work as it has all original carpet. Missing back storage compartment cover (previous owner never got it to me) Put a black board there to cover so trunk could be functional. This car has a lot of cargo room. I have been putting a drum set in the back!! Selling cause I would like more room and often travel with more than one person. Transmission is shifts tight. Has a little knock when going back to first. Honda shop says nothing to worry about however I have an extra transmission sitting on crate. (Company I bought from sent it after I told them about the downshift bump.) Decided to keep driving transmission as is and have had no problems) Will included extra tranny with purchase. ($380 vlaue) Has some minor fender dents that were present when I bought. This car has never been wrecked in my posession. There was an apparent incident on history from previous high school owner. Think it was just minor parking lot deal. This vehicle has never received any structural damage as I would have seen when working underneath. Has new JVC Deck with IPOD hook up and four JVC Speakers with Power amp for rear speakers. Right Trunk hatch lift came off but I have just been using a prop. I just use a prop. This car has plenty of life left with continued TLC. If you are looking then you know what owning an old Honda is like. I’m torn on selling but would love to see it go to a good owner.
