here is a 55 chevy convertible project- im selling off some projects to finish some others. first let me state that the vin number in the auction starts with an O - that is a misprint on the title but rest of vin on title is matching to the cars vin tag- . it was a typo error when title was printed in another state- it can be fixed by a title correction when title is transferred when they inspect the car.. but check your state to find out.in my opinion i wouldnt mess with it. here is a 98 percent complete 55 chevy convertible. car needs interior floors and possible trunk work- front clip including fenders is rust free- outside body is very solid with minimal rust- frame is solid with one spot underneath drivers side frame in front of rear wheel just starting to pop. interior is rough including seats but front and rear seats are there. all convertible stuff is intact with the exception of the pump cover. this a black/white exterior car. nice colors. this would be a nice car to restore- it needs a total restoration-- and im selling as-is. please email with any questions before bidding or call 218-731-5068 thanksOn Jan-09-12 at 18:51:25 PST, seller added the following information: engine is a 283(unknown year) and now has a manual trans- was automatic originally- original rear end. non posi- very solid car around the edges- ive seen alot worse for sale here on ebay. history of car unknown- IM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADES- PLEASE SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY- IF YOUVE GOT TO HAVE IT- CALL ME.
