Vehicle Detail
Hi, I'm selling my CRX because I have a Del Sol now and I don't need the CRX anymore. The car has a 1.5L D15B2 engine with, Dual Point Fuel Injection, 4-speed automatic, good AC, AM/FM cassette, good body condition, very little rust for a 91 car, many newer parts, engine and transmission both run great. Sale is NO RESERVE, AS IS, and with NO WARRANTY. The good: -The car is completely stock (except for the Blaupunkt radio/cassette) -Never smoked in the car and it appears that the previous owner did not as well -Many new parts as detailed in the maintenance history below -Car was from New Jersey, purchased and brought to Ohio in 2006 -Engine has dual port fuel injection (no carburetor) -No ECU fault codes activated -Easily passes e-check at about 10-15% of emission limits -Seats are in very good condition -Engine and 4-speed automatic transmission (no clutch to replace) work perfectly -Air-conditioning works well (was very cold last summer) -Has very little rust, everything works (except for the cigarette lighter) -Exhaust system, cooling system, suspension, tires, air-conditioning and brakes all in good condition -Car drives straight with very little vibration and tires do not leak The bad: -Heater control faceplate is cracked (a common problem). -Cigarette lighter is not working, but there is 12 volts power (measured with a voltmeter) in the socket for any accessories -Rear bumper was bumped in a parking lot incident and there is a misalignment of the plastic rear bumper (1/8” overlap) on the driver’s side, but the car’s sheet metal is not bent or dented. -There was one bigger rust spot behind the driver’s side rear wheel that was repaired with a little bit of bondo. -There are a few other minor rust spots that have been repaired -Paint on the hood does not exactly match the rest of the car -It is unknown when the timing belt was last replaced, but with a recent inspection it looks good for now - Has a few very minor dents/depressions on the roof-There is an unrepaired rust spot on the middle of the driver's side door below the trim Recent maintenance history: Last week: Installed a six-month old battery (now fully charged since I was using it in my other car) Installed a new alternator belt Last year: Installed new fuel filter, new front and rear windshield wipers, new rear hatch struts, A/C recharge with R12 freon, repair of a few rust spots, new oil change and new oil filter, inspected timing belt, painted valve cover Two years ago: Installed new windshield, new hood, new hood latch, new OEM driver’s seatback fabric Three years ago: Installed two new front drive axles, four new Monroe wheel struts, four new OEM coil wheel springs, new exhaust pipe and muffler, new catalytic converter, new radiator and new coolant, new air-conditioning condenser, complete rebuild of rear brakes with new brake drums, new brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, new rubber brake hoses, new rear brake fluid/flushFour years ago: Installed four new good quality (Hercules MR4) tires and four wheel alignment, new front brake pads, new shift lever electrical switch, new hood release cable, repair of main relay by re-flowing solder joints on circuit board, repair of rear quarter rust spot
