This car still needs some work to bring it to a restored quality but what a great car to finish ! It has a rebuilt 289 original V8 engine with a mild hydraulic cam to give it better performance and enhanced driving quality. It is mated to the original 3 speed maual transmission. It also has an Edelbrock Performer intake and 4 barrel carburetor. Chrome air cleaner and valve covers give it a clean yet desired appearance. We have the original valve covers and air cleaner and they will go with car. This car has an exceptional underbody and this fact is important to any buyer of a classic Mustang . It has it's original floors and frame and is extremely solid and will need only minor work . The inner rockers , torque boxes and rails are solid. Three of the four floor pans are solid and there is NOT any undercoating to hide the typical problems of most Mustangs. The rh rear floor pan is just starting to perforate and is an easy replacement and inexpensive to replace. I have posted detailed pictures of the underbody to show just how nice it is. This original Candy Apple Red car came with red standard interior also. You can check the body data tag codes I have listed that document this.
