Rare Car: Up for sale is a 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA convertible. Black on black with a white convertible top all numbers matching everything from the original carb, heads, and manifolds down to the trans and rear end. Only 4300 Convertibles made total and this one has power steering!! Go to any show and you will not see them!! Best color combination. The car just came out of the paint shop this month and it looks great. Nothing looks better that a black car just out of the paint booth. Lots of re chrome, too much to list, and parts. ( new shocks, muffler, re chrome bumpers / windshield, all aluminum trim around seats and exterior trim polished) It is a power steering car. New weather striping and lots more. Floor pans were replaced. Tires and rims are in good condition It runs and drives great. Original C 6 Transmission Shifts well and Kickdown is installed correctly. original HiPo 390 engine high compression sounds great with new exhaust factory fogures in 1966 put this engine at 330 HP and 427 ftl-lbs... this car will lay down rubber on command!! Really, I have been to many shows and the GTA convertibles are rare. GT 390 motor and power steering automatic. Sold as is.
