I have found a 1950 chevy 3100 pickup here in Oklahoma.The truck has been setting for quite some time. It did belong to a construction co. in the mid 60s' in Wichita, Kansas by the name of Sherwood Const. Inc. The name is on the door. The truck has the 216 inline 6 eng with the three speed on the column. The oil in the engine is on the mark, and is as clean as if it was put in yesterday. The gentelman I got it from took the rear brakes off so he could roll it around. The engine turns over real easy and not noisey at all. There is no carb or radiator, generator, but that is to be expected after setting for so long. Starter and all other parts seem to be there and don't feel it would take much to get it running. The floors in the cab are not in need of major repair. There is some rust in cab corners and cowles in front of doors. The drivers door is going to need repaired where it joins the cowle. Running boards are not real good, but might be able to be saved. The bed floor is going to need to be replaced. Couple spots on fenders need a little attention, but the truck as a whole is not that bad and would a good builder. This seems to be an original truck. Have not spent a lot of money on the truck, and have done no repairs. Going to try and sell it before I spend a lot of money and time in the thing.
