Vehicle Detail

mygoodies4u store Car has 112k original miles. Original 350 motor was rebuilt and has 12500 miles. Original 2 barrel carb with points. Has original 3 speed manual on the floor. Interior is original with faded original carpet. There is some typical rust around defrost vent in dash around front windshield. This is common on these and the camaros. Car has been painted and had rust repair in past. Clean clear title. Looks good but has some bubbles coming up behind doors at bottom of quarters on both sides. Older paint job showing its age. Car has some mud around rockers, door jams and doors. It was done when restored. 10 footer but still shines and looks ok for driver. I took it to my local body man and he can fix and repaint rust area for around $550. He is local and I can give you his info if your interested in repairing it. Floors are nice and solid. Trunk looks nice and solid, fender wells are solid, driver side has some surface rust around lip. Has factory zebart and under carriage coating. This has kept car pretty solid underneath. Car has had full rear quarters when it was restored in past. Looks like a good job. Good solid frame. Car still looks nice as is and you can drive anywhere. Has new springs all the way around and new shocks in back. Could use alignment to be perfectly straight. It does drive pretty straight I just would get allignment to be perfect because I replaced a broken spring in front and put all new springs on so it will need allignment to be perfect. Tires are non-radial goodyear redlines with like brand new tread but are showing some sidewall weathering. The car is a great driver and runs real nice. Gets thumbs up and looks everywhere I drive it. This car has protecto plate from Ohio. Vin# and tag shows its a 350 car and shows it a 3spd floor car. The car was original 72 Rally Nova which was basically a ss nova with no ss emblems made to keep insurance low. 812-290-3383 On Dec-23-11 at 21:12:34 PST, seller added the following information: Please read: A few email questions about car; All gauges and lights work including the dome light when the door opens. Car has front and rear factory seat belts, like 5 or 6 total. Very nice headliner same color as door panels. Dash pad has a few cracks from age. All locks work with keys and doors open and shut great. Front end on car is tight and breaks work great. The breaks are power drum breaks and car will stop right now without any pulling. The heater and all heater vents, defrost settings work. The radio is older style kenwood tape deck with two old 6X9's that works great. Cigarette lighter delete, its easy cheap to install one if needed. Clutch works good with no slipping, it is right at the end of clutch pedal but does have adjustment under hood and still works good as is. It goes into all gears smoothly and easy. Trans is original and still has factory reverse lockout which is when you park car you can only remove the key when car is in reverse. Shifter boot does have some cracks in it, but still works. Car is limited slip diff. not posi. Not sure about gear ratio, I would say around 308 to 342? Im trying to tell you everything about car and what it might need. Although this is not mint or perfect, and all this being said; you can still jump in car throw on your seat belt and drive it anywhere as is with no problems while listening to classic rock on the radio. Great fun nostalgic car to drive and show off. On Dec-24-11 at 01:59:40 PST, seller added the following information: Yes, car has power steering. Please look at pics. For $550 you can get the worst part of it fixed and repainted below body line. The local body man has done work for me before and is professional with nice shop. He said he will replace with metal and he will do good job and blend paint really well on rust bubbles mentioned in above description. When I bought this car I looked at several nova's and this was the best one I found. All the other nova's were cut up with different motors, different trans, different rearend, chopped up floor with hurst shifter and ugly changed seats etc. It is really hard to find a nova that is mostly all original. I would love to keep this car but have to sell it. Let me know if you would like to come see car. I have additional pics if needed. I can email or text pics.
