Looking to sell a 2000 Ford Explorer with very low mileage for its age. Vehicle runs great since it was purchased in 2009 from the GSA. The vehicle is state inspected. The front tires were both recently replaced with new, and the battery is new. The ball joints and tie rod ends have been replaced on the front. The ride is great, and has been driven frequently driven between Richmond, VA to Charles Town, WV. The air conditioning blows cold. The vehicle was recently outfitted with a new CD/MP3/iPOD stereo. All windows, locks, doors, and hatch function. It was previously a government SUV located in the Virgin Islands. A device of some kind had been affixed to the roof, and removed prior to auction. The device's installtion left a 1.5" diameter hole, which leaked at some point and damaged the ceiling liner (see picture). Following purchase from the GSA, the hole has been patched and no longer leaks. The oil pressure gauge does not function. The rear doors are missing arm pads (see picture). The cigarette lighter is missing.
