This is a 73 Maverick 2-Door sedan with a new paint job, good interior and low mileage. The A/C and heater work and the car has new seat covers. The bumpers have been painted to complement the two-toned paint job on the car. This Maverick has a 6 cylinder and standard transmission and brakes. The clutch and brakes are too stiff for my 85-year old dad, who fixed up the car to cruise in. There also two cracks in the dash which did not show up in the photos that my father took. The right door inside handle is broken in half and needs to be replaced. The odometer says 56,000 miles, but since the car was purchase used and fixed up, there is now way of knowing if the mileage was tampered with before we got the car. We only know that the speedometer works. All lights work; the gas gauge doesn't work. The speedometer, heat gauge and oil light work. Headliner is in good condition, there are new seat covers on both seats; rear package tray doesn't look so great; needs refinishing. Outside chrome moulding on driver's door is missing. Wipers work. No oil leaks that we can see. The car runs well and the engine seems well taken care of. Please see the answers to some of the questions below for more information. On Jan-04-12 at 10:36:11 PST, seller added the following information: Dad just noticed that the headliner has a tear in it, and is a bit loose at sail panels at back glass; may need to be replaced. When we wrote the listing, we didn't notice the tear; which may have happened when the car was being painted.
