Please read entire description prior to bidding. I bought this truck with the intention of using it as a daily driver and to use and my lake house in Vermont during the summer. I bought it a couple months ago and put tons of work and money into it. It is in very nice condition. It is areal survivor and is rust free. This truck is an absolute beast. Rugged solid axle suspension and virtually unstoppable V10 towing power. Rust free and a strong runner. Starts right up and burns no oil. Doesnt smoke, shimmy stutter or stall. 4 brand spankin new mud tires. Complete brake job including both front calipers and all four rotors and pads. All ten coil packs have been changed out. The 4x4 functions perfectly, including the shift on the fly option. The manual hubs work perfectly also. There are no check engine lights etc. The transmission is strong and shifts perfectly with no slipping, grinding or clunking or anything weird. The body is in excellent condition and has no rust. There are a few very very minor bumps and bruises, a couple little scuffs etc., but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. The interior is in excellent condition for its age showing only mior wear. There are no stains or smells or rips and it is very clean. There are no cracks in the dash or anything like that. The paint shines very nicely, from 20 feet away this truck looks brand new. All the power options work but the driver side front window is a little sluggish. The A/C does not work. I havent had it checked so I dont know why. All other options works, including the heated seats, cruise, mirrors radio all the lights and gauges. The windshield is brand new and professionally installed. All the glass is in excellent condition, TPlease feel free to come look at and test drive the truck prior to bidding. This Excursion is not a piece of junk. It is a damn nice truck that runs awesome, shifts awesome, and just needs a little bit of TLC to be absolutely perfect. You are bidding to own it and it will sell to the highest bidder. I will not entertain offers to end the auction. I will let the auction finish and the last bidder will own it. I have the title in hand and its ready to go. I am not a dealer, and this truck is my daily driver. mileage may vary slightly. Also please remeber that you are bidding on a 11 year old truck and it is not new. It drives very nicely and cruises down the highway at 75 80 mph like a dream. THE BAD: The reason I am selling is because after dumping over 2 grand in repairs to ths truck I noticed a small bit of fluid on the garage floor. I discovered it was coming from the inspection plug on the bottom of the tranny. I am told that it means there is a bad seal on the torque converter. I have neither the time, money or patience to deal with another repair. it is important to note that the trucks drives and shifts perfectly through all the gears. The fluid level is fine and is not burnt. It leaves a dime size drop over night. The local transmission shop here estimates it to be a 800 dollar repair. A do it your self person could do it for 40 bucks for the seal and 8 hours of their time. So the bottom line is that I am cutting my losses and moving on.
