Vehicle Detail

This is a 1966 Honda CT90 with 153 actual miles, and is 99.9% original equipment. I believe that this is the closest you will ever get to a brand new 1966 CT90. The bike is in immaculate condition, and has just undergone an extensive restoration. According to the previous owner this bike has lived indoors its entire life, and the condition of the motorcycle pre-restoration supports that claim, along with the mileage claim, i.e. original tires, rims, spokes, air filter, original seat, original down-tube jacket. I am the third owner. The restoration includes new paint, carburetor rebuild and gas tank relining using Kreem, with strict adherence to their process specifications. The handle bars, muffler protectors, exhaust pipe & clamp, kick starter, air box cover, and headlight trim ring have been re-chromed. Luggage rack and chrome trim on seat shows no signs of wear, and has original factory chrome as does the chrome trim on the seat. The items which have been replaced with 100% NOS parts are the plastic side caps on the front forks, one of the passenger foot pegs, the plastic caps on the trailing arm, the rubber gasket that cushions the speedometer, front fender mud flap, battery, front and rear brake cables, speedometer cable, left handlebar grip, kick starter rubber, throttle cable, gas cap washer, exhaust & muffler gaskets, and skid plate. The bike has its original tool kit, unused, including the original replacement spark plug. It runs perfectly, and cold starts on first or second kick. I don’t believe you will find a first year CT90 in better overall condition. It is truly an iconic collector’s item and museum piece, that can be used and enjoyed, or simply displayed for years to come.
