This truck started for the purpose of going on family trips to Silver Lake Sand Dunes and deer hunting. We wanted a heavy duty 4X4 that was still economical to drive, but could handle all off road terrain. It has been a great truck and we never had any problems after the build. We just need to sell for financial reasons. It's a great looker that needs very little. We started by purchasing a 1987 Chevy 1 Ton 4X4 single wheel for a parts donor. The Suburban has a new ProComp 8" Spring Lift installed. Has 4" blocks in rear. The front sway bar was lowered to attain a nice ride. It has the 4" steering block with a ProComp drop pitman arm. The rear axle is a corporate 14 full floater with new brakes, cylinders and wheel bearings. The front axle is a Dana 60 with new brakes and new Warn lockouts. The complete brake system was professionally serviced. The drive shaft are the large diameter 1 ton shafts that were professionally lengthened with new u-joints. The wheels are weld racing typoons 16.5"X12" wide. The tires are Parnelli Jones dirt grips 36"X14.5" wide X16.5" with very low miles. The engine is the stock 5.7 litre 350 fuel injected. The bad: The speedometer is broken (mileage of 126K is not accurate), the driver's window doesn't work, the back window is stuck closed, the back hinges are rusty, the interior is fair. We have a lot invested and are sacrificing for a lot less. Thanks for looking.
