Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car from an older gentleman in Northern, IL. He races at the same track I do. He purchased this car in 1997, when he lived in California. He brought it with him when he moved in 1998. It is super solid. All the seams and floors look awesome. The only issues I see are dents in both quarter panels. Nothing big. One happened before he bought the car. The other happened to him when an axle broke. Since then, new Moser axles with c-clip eliminators were installed. The rear end is a built ten bolt with a 4:11 mini-spool. The tranny has just a few runs on it. He installed a new TCI-THM350 with manual valve/forward pattern and a 2800 stall convertor. The engine is a 383. It has Keith Black pistons and fires at a 12:1 ratio. The cast iron heads have been worked. The cam is a solid lifter of unknown specs. The intake is an Edelbrock Torker with a 750 Holley 4150 on top. This car is set up with a plate style NOS system. It is all functional. The headers are fenderwell by Hedman. Bolt-on Flowmaster mufflers are included. The frame has been connected. A roll cage is present. The single seat is a race style with a harness. The door panels, headliner, rear seat and turn signals are removed. This car is being sold for racing only, but does have a title and matching serial number. The tires are Mickey Thompson. The rears are 26x8.5 and the fronts are 24x4.5. They are mounted on very nice aluminum slots. There is a ten gallon fuel cell, battery and NOS bottle in the trunk. The front suspension and steering appear stock. The rear is single leaf spring with slapper bars. The previous owner had been running 11.70 on motor and low 11's on the bottle. I truely believe it can go faster with a more aggressive tune and a high stall convertor. This is a great car. It is easy to maintain, very solid, looks good and performs well. I hope it goes to a good home and continues to perform at a high level. Please message me with any questions you may have. Please review the photos and description before bidding. This is a binding auction. It is at no reserve, so the final bidder will own my car. I expect a $500.00 down payment via Paypal within 24 hours. The balance must be paid in full within seven days or the down payment will be kept. I don't mind storing it for up to two weeks.
