This auction will be on a no reserve. Highest bidder gets my 1971 Plymouth GTX. This car was restored approximately 3 years ago and 12k miles. Over 35k was invested at that time to go through the car. This is a turn key mopar ready to take out and drive! It was completely stripped down to a shell and painted throughout. All the panels and inside of the car were painted professionally. Over 12k was spent just for this alone. This is not some pieced together mopar, like most you see on ebay. This car was painted the RIGHT way and then reassembled with a ton of new parts. It was painted using PPG base/clear. The color is correct 1971 GW3 Sno White. The paint looks fantastic and although it is white, it shines very bright and looks beautiful in person. If you can check it out prior to auctions end, you should do so. This is a car you need to see in person to really appreciate. The body is perfectly straight and there are no waves, dents or dings on the car. Winner of the auction gets a binder of about 20 pictures showing the restoration. Never any rust on this car. Look around, you wont find another this solid and this nice for the price. Projects are fetching 10k without its original motor and a ton of rust! It is numbers matching and the 440/727 were both rebuilt at time of restoration. Motor is very strong and runs perfect. Transmission shifts perfect as well and drives down the road well. The motor is now .30 over and is mostly stock (has a slightly higher cam for added performance). Suspension and brakes were rebuilt along with new exhaust. The car has power disc brakes and power steering. Has all new stripes and decals throughout on the car. Has 15" rallye wheels. It also has correct chin spoilers and gull wing spoiler out back. All of the electrical was gone through and all the dash gauges and all the lights work on the car (dash , brake , back up, turn signal, hood turn signal, park, headlights, license light, map, key, dome, everything!). The interior is saddle tan and was completely redone including carpet, seat covers, package tray, headliner. Door panels are original and in nice shape with only a couple of blemishes. New trunk mat. Interior looks very classy and looks sharp in person. Has all new rubber seals throughout including roof, door, trunk, qtr windows and the door panel cat whisker seals. Very quiet inside of car when driving. Does not have any rattles or knocks or anything inside. This is just a great driving mopar and not many can say that. All correct decals were put back on the car including tire jack instructions, tire pressure, coolant, and emission decals. Has original fender tag still attached along with original door sticker. All of the body numbers match the door sticker, fender tag , VIN tag and engine. Has front and rear heavy duty sway bars. Grille is perfect and was restored to original as well. This is a no rust, California car, with all of its original panels. It has only spent one year outside of California for work and then was brought back here. Has perfect original trunk floor, floor pans, rockers, quarters, etc. The pictures of the restoration show the car stripped down and no rust anywhere on the car. I pulled the carpet up on the passenger side to show how clean the floor boards are. The inside was painted like the outside. With only a little under 3000 1971 GTX's produced it is very tough to find one numbers matching, rust free and one still retaining all of its original panels. This car is for the person who wants to keep and enjoy a great GTX. I have decided to let it go to a good home to finish another project. I have got lots of enjoyment out of it and it is a turn key awesome mopar. Before the auction ends, if you can see the car in person make sure you do so, as you will fall in love with the car when you see it. You can not build this car or replace this car for the money it will sell for on ebay. If you have seen the crap thats out there, you will appreciate the work that has been done to this GTX. NO RESERVE AUCTION. This means highest bidder wins it. I have to sell the car and it will go for market value and what you decide. Please be serious when placing a bid as I have already had several flakes. Please have your funds in order PRIOR to purchasing my car. All inspections must be done prior to auctions end, as once the auction is over it will be the buyers vehicle. I welcome any inspections and 3rd party inspections. I will help with loading the car for transport, obtaining shipping quotes or whatever else you need, within reason. Car is sold as is, where is. There is no warranties on the car as it is 40 years old. Car is sold with a clear title. The car is being sold on a no reserve and will sell for market value as determined by the buyers on ebay.
