I am a collector of the 1982 & 1983 Suzuki Katana’s , over the last 15 years I have been purchasing the nicest and lowest mileage examples of these bikes I could find. I have accumulated a lot of these motorcycles and now my final collection is complete. This Katana is one of the extras, of which I have 5, and now it’s time to let someone else enjoy them. This 1982 GS550MZ Katana is a three owner bike. The bike has accumulated 7,654 miles and is in fair condition and has never been down. The bike has not been started since 2006 when I purchased it and will need the usual carb cleaning etc. to get it running. Specifics: 7,654 Miles tires are in good condition Tank is original, has a few scratches and a crease/dent on the left side. The seat is in good condition with no tears. The left side cover has a small hole drilled in it (?) and the right side cover is missing. The front fender has chipped paint. The aluminum on the engine cases have some typical tarnish. The Exhaust is fair, the left side has a small spot of rust on the end and the right side is clean. Has aftermarket mirrors. The plastic holding the tail light in has whitening in the plastic. Included with the bike is owners manual and 1 factory key. In short the bike is in fair to good condition, original and would make a nice rider.
