RARE 1971 TOYOTA COROLLA COUPE TOYOGLIDE MODEL KE25 MANUFACTURED: SEPTEMBER 1970LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIARUST FREE - LOW RESERVE I relisted due to reserve not being met. I have lowered the reserve. Up for auction is a running rare stock 1971 Toyota Corolla Coupe Model Ke25. This is a 2dr coupe, Toyoglide transmission, 3k engine, front disc brakes and its rear wheel drive. The Corolla is in running condition and operational. Below is a brief description of the condition of the car to the best of my knowledge. Engine: It has all original 3k engine. My mechanic did a brief engine inspection. Results, engine in good condition and recommended the following work that was completed: oil and filter change, coolant flushed, spark plugs, replaced some vacuum hoses and new battery post. No oil or water leaks. Radiator good. Pending work: carburetor to be cleaned to correct rough idle. Transmission: Not sure if its a 2 or 3 speed, shifts fine. Recent oil change. Exterior: Currently has a white primer. Does have dings and dents. The top roof has dents. Has a small crack on the right front bezel easy fiberglass repair. I would repair but I'm allergic to fiberglass. Key does not open door locks. Missing trunk lock. Ignition key will be included. I will include the front turn signal lights housing, lenses are broken. Hood latch broken. No rust on the exterior!!! Interior: Interior is all complete front seats need upholstery or seat covers. All seats move freely. Doors open and close nicely. All windows roll up/down nicely. Quarter windows open and lock fine. All instrument gadgets work. Lights work. Wiper work. Turn signals work. Manual choke work. Seat belts work. Glove box open/close. No Rust inside!!! Chassis: Great shape no rust and no accidents. Suspension: Suspension appears to be fine and all original. Rims and Tires: Toyota Stock 12" Rims. Brakes: Front disc brakes and rear drum. Rear brakes have new brake cylinders. New brake fluid. Needs front brake pads $15. Title & Registration: Title and registration on hand. Currently corolla is under non-operational status. Overall: The Corolla is in nice shape for its age. Corolla was cleaned in and out and touched up a bit. Corolla is all stock. It has been sitting in the garage for years, but was occasionally started and moved. This is a 40 year old car so maintenance is expect in all areas of the car. Will be sold as is.
