Someone out there is going to have a very Happy Holiday as the new owner of this very special 912.I purchased this incredible car in September 2005 from the original owners family from Mentor On The Lake,Ohio. James purchased this car on May 11,1966 from Stoddard Motors Inc. 38845 Mentor Ave. Willoughby,Ohio.I have the original Retail Installment Agreement marked PAID and this is just the starting point of the complete service history of this special car. May 26,1966 500 mile check up-528 miles----------June 23,1966 3k Service-3018 Miles--------I have the 6k Service18k,30k service and more. James passed away in 1991 and the 912 was taken in by his brother. On June 29th 1991,serviced for starting system with mileage at 60,650 miles. Over the next 14 years this 912 was cared for very well and in 14 years of ownership,James's brother only drove the car a little over 7000 miles. In June 1999 a repaint of the original color Polo Red/6602. I have receipts for exhaust system,carbs rebuilt,brake master cylinder,and more. I could not imagine finding a more documented 912 than this beautiful 912. This is the last of my toys. I had 3-4 in my garage at one time,sold a 65 Sunbeam Tiger 5-6 months ago,I really thought or wanted to keep this car forever but the economy got me.Oh well, Happy Holidays.I mentioned that this 912 was purchased at Stoddard Motors/Porsche,which is probably the most historic, and most well known Porsche Dealer in this country,the majority of service that was performed on this very special 912 was done at Stoddard. The last invoice that tracks the incredible history of this car is dated one month before I purchased this 912. On August 11th 2005, serviced at Stoddard for the last time with 67,649 miles,only driven 7k miles the last 14 years.I have owned this car for 6 years and I have put 940 miles on it. Makes me sick to sell this. The seats were redone in March 2003, Very Nice. As you can see from the pictures,a very early Green 3 Gauge Dash,5 Speed,Tinted Rear Window,2 Headrests-Leatherette,Ventilated Wheels,Exterior Mirror-Left,Original Blaupunkt Radio 'Frankfurt' , Front Loudspeaker,Antenna. I have the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity that is included of course.
