This car was bought new at Lexus here in Los Angeles. The car was manufactured new in Japan on April, 1992 and shipped to the Los Angeles dealer on May 5 1992.Sold new on July 16 1992. The car has had 1 local owners since new, and with its low miles remains an exceptional example of the acclaimed ES300 series. Grayish Rose Metallic, code 3K7, the car presents very well. The paint finish appears to be all original and in impressive condition with the exception of the rear bumper and right rear quarter panel - glass smooth, with excellent depth and gloss. The body is excellent with few dings or dents, and of course no rust problems anywhere on the car. Tires are nearly new 205 65 15 radials. All 4 wheels are in excellent condition with minor scuffs or curb rash. . All of the trim on the car looks like new. Chrome window trims are unmarked and look terrific . All lights and lenses are excellent and look like new. only minor imperfections. All of the car's glass is excellent, including the windshield. The trunk presents as new. The spare tire has never been on the ground, still holding air from 1992. The tool kit and jack remains in its original place never used. The interior is likewise excellent, showing only light wear on the optional leather seats. Dash is pristine with no splits or cracks. Wood trim is all in terrific condition. Door panels are crisp and clean. The carpet is in fantastic condition, having been covered with original floor mats (included) since new. The steering wheel reflects the car's low miles, those familiar with Lexus cars from this era will appreciate just how much texture is present on this wheel, as most become a lot smoother from use after the first 100K miles. All gauges work correctly and show good readings. All switches and controls are in like new condition, and all of them operate correctly. The climate control functions as it should, the AC blows cold. Its auto function works correctly. The car retains its original Lexus Premium Sound System P1700 cassette radio, a very advanced unit for its time. It works in tandem with the power antenna just as it should. All 4 power windows work swiftly and smoothly. The rear parcel shelf is for the speakers and third brake light.The headliner is unmarked and in super condition. Optional power moonroof works smoothly, including the pop up deflector. All interior lighting works, sunvisor vanity lights both work. For anyone that's driven a Sport ES300, this car will be a revelation. I've personally owned 3 of them over the years and am well accustomed to their, um, leisurely performance. This car actually bolts right off the line with assertive and snappy acceleration. Gearshifts are smooth and sure, the ride quality and suspension are tight and firm. There's no substitute for driving a low mile car, this is one I know you'll be very pleased with.The engine bay is all stock Lexus, right down to the AAA battery. As you can see, this engine bay is amazing. What you're looking at simply reflects 30K miles of operation. The undercarriage is rust free and original, even the exhaust. The car comes with a full assortment of original manuals. The Sport ES300 series seem to attract a fan base from a wide variety of backgrounds. Car was involved in a minor accident on October 2011, it was a fender bender. No real big damage was done. Prior damage Regarding the history of this car, We bought it from an Insurance Company. Pictures of the actual damage are posted below. All repairs were done by a professional auto body. We personally test drive all of out cars to make sure everything is in working condition and that we will deliver a vehicle that is road ready and in need of nothing. This Lexus comes with a California salvage certificate. All safety inspection have been passed and it now ready to be registered. For buyers out side California Please note that We can also obtain a rebuilt title for this vehicle upon buyer's request. Registration process for a vehicle with a rebuilt title is identical to the one with a clean title. Nothing extra is required to register a vehicle with a rebuilt title . NO inspections are required with a rebuilt title. Cost for getting a rebuilt title is $200. This process will take up to 14 days and will be started only after full payment has been made. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work.
