This 68 Mustang coupe is a real gem! I inheritated it from my uncle who was one of two owners. It had been sitting in a barn in GA since 1990. Fortunately, it was in great shape with original matching vin plates. Since getting it, I've had the entire car restored and rebuilt (engine, carb, tranmission, suspension, brakes, tires....everything). The original 289 runs excellent! I've also added an aftermarket AC. The interior is original and is in excellent shape. The exterior paint is original but there is a minor scuff along the driver's door and front quarter panel, so a new paint is optional (I love the gold!). The car looks and drives great and is 95% original. It has 1,800 after resto miles. Unfortunately, I am returning oversees and won't be able to take it. Both my uncle and I would prefer someone enjoy the car rather than it sit in storage. I have all the documentation on the work performed on the car.
