Vehicle Detail
1994 Ford Mark III Conversion Van OHIO I bought this van on Saturday 12-10-2011 from a family that was moving down south due to a new job opportunity. They liquidated many items—several vehicles, several ATV’s, and a tractor. I bought this conversion van and the tractor. See the tractor in my other auction. I have a clear title in my name ready to be transferred to the buyer. The previous owner delivered it to my house on Sunday 12-11-2011. That was approximately 40 miles away. I drove the van to work on 12-13-2011 all over the place while at work, and I drove it home. I put over 100 miles on it. The 5.0 engine starts instantly, sounds great, it is quiet, it doesn’t smoke, has good power, it doesn’t make any bad sounds, it doesn’t leak oil, etc. The heater blows hot air. The AC blows cold air. The steering and brakes are in good shape and work as they should. The transmission shifts smoothly and firmly. The van has a TV in the back, a CD/DVD player, 4 captains chairs, and a rear bench seat that folds into a sofa via a power switch in the front of the van. The previous owner said that the only thing that doesn’t work correctly is the overdrive-off button on the gear shifter. He stated that when the OD off button is pushed, it blows the fuse for the turn signals. To be clear on this: The transmission shifts perfectly, and does not have any issues. There is really no need to turn off the overdrive button, but I want to be completely up front about the issue. The previous owner replaced the fuse and left the OD button on. The wipers work, the gauges work, the stereo works, all lights work, etc. The tires have good tread. The paint is still shiny. The underside of the vehicle looks good. The driver front fender has a few rust bubbles under the paint, but it still looks good. The body observes to be free of damage. The inside of the vehicle is very clean. It smells clean inside. I loaded five of my co-workers into it today at work & we went to lunch. They all got a kick out of how clean it was. In summary, this is a very nice & well maintained 17 year old conversion van. I have a service manual for this vehicle along with the original window sticker, and the MARK III conversion package receipt/window sticker. This van cost $32,000+ in 1994. Buy it for less than $2500 today. This vehicle is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if it sells locally. I will not ship this vehicle. I will not deliver this vehicle. Due to the running boards it is too wide for my trailer. Buyer to pick up in Philo, Ohio. Zip code 43771. Based on putting 100+ miles on it, I would not hesitate to drive it to California tomorrow. If you want a brand new conversion van, take your $50,000 to the dealer. Do not waste my time or yours. If you want a clean, well maintained used conversion van for less than $2500, buy this. All pictures of this vehicle were taken on Sunday 12-11-2011. The pictures show the exact condition of what you are buying. $500 NON-Refundable deposit due within 24 hours. Full purchase price must be paid for within 3 days. The van must be picked up within 7 days. If you cannot do all three of those things, do not bid. Thanks, Roy
