Vehicle Detail

First off, I would like to thank you for viewing my 1989 Ford Mustang Saleen #566 that is for sale. This is for sale locally and will not last long as offers very close to the actual price have already been made. The future owner of this car will most undoubtedly want to drive a very unique and sought after color combination. They will derive pleasure from knowing that the new white paint will gleam as they enter the corral, and the blue Saleen stripes set them apart from all other Mustangs. This car is an awesome example of a driver that can be shown anywhere. Upon inspection you will determine that there is zero rust. All of the factory Saleen ground effects are on the car and have held up great through the years. The 5 spoke Saleen wheels do have some scratches but still show very well. On the interior, the Saleen gauges, saleen gear shift knob and flo-fit seats are present. The front flo-fit seats are in impeccable shape considering most are torn and show wear. The steering wheel appears to be a SSC wheel with the cruise control buttons still intact. Every option on the car works as it should. The BBK shorty headers and flomaster mufflers along with the big tips will sound and look great as you roll by. All the stickers have been freshly replaced and there is no cracking or peeling as with most drivers this age. The springs are red but I do not know if they are Saleen springs. The struts and shocks are Sensa-struts. As I own several Saleens and have owned more, this suspension combination rides very well and will be great for cruising to the shows in style. Once again, this car is an awesome driver and is priced as such. I would also like to note that yes the car has been in an accident as have most cars this age. For a recent history on the car, this is what I have been able to gather. The car was owned by an individual who took care of and maintained the integrity of the car very well. He sold the car to a family man in Louisiana whose wife drove the car and moderately damaged the car on the left side. It appears that the car may not have been insured properly which would explain the salvage hit on the title. He then sold the car to an individual in Bradenton, FL and the car was partially repaired and then put up for sale as he ran out of money to fix his dream car. I purchased the car and had it fixed and painted. I do not know the particulars about the accident and have tried to acquire the pics of the accident. I have been told that they are on the internet but can not locate them. The car still maintains the front bumper filler, front ground affect and both fenders. The hood was replaced due to a buckle. Prior to me selling this car, I took the title and all verifying paperwork to the DMV in Palm Harbor, Fl where I dealt with a wonderful lady named Tammy. She then proceeded to pull Florida records on this car and stated that the future owner will be receiving a clean and clear title according to the State of Florida. I am not a title expert so I can not clearly explain the Salvage history and can only tell you about the title that I have in hand. The car is a great example of a driver and I have listed it as such. I want to be honest about all of my knowledge of the car so the new owner understands what he/she is receiving. If you are looking for a 1989 Saleen with no accidents, some miles and this color combination then you will be spending a lot more money. That car would be a garage queen and not a driver. This car is for sale as is everything else I own except for my wife and kids. I am not a Saleen historian and do not claim to be but I do know that these cars are going up in value as it is evident by the sale of Saleen's in recent history. I am looking to move this car to its next owner soon and will reply to all reasonable offers. This car is available for inspection upon request. All questions will be answered promptly. Please do not miss this opportunity to own a piece of history that can be driven anywhere and will only go up in value. You can check out my other Saleen auctions as I am adding new listings all the time. I am parting out several Saleen's so do not hesitate to ask. The car is a great example of a driver and I have listed it as such. This is an awesome opportunity to own a great driver. If you have any questions regarding this car, please contact me at 727-331-5121! * I have acquired pictures of the original accident (Thanks Peter) and have added them. I hope this helps someone make a good decision about this Awesome Driver and can see what a great car that it actually is. **PLEASE NOTE- IF THIS CAR DOES NOT SELL IT WILL BE PARTED OUT COMPLETELY! IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE CHECK MY AUCTIONS AS ALL ITEMS WILL BE POSTED ON EBAY! bapartschick Store
