Due to a dead beat scammer I am relisting my truck for sale again..... You are bidding on a nice 1986 GMC Sierra Classic Pickup. We have owned this truck for 20 or so years since it was almost new. Everything has been kept up on this truck, repairs, regular oil changes etc... This truck has 138,XXX original miles on the truck, period, everything is stock, just the way it came new. It has a 350 in it that runs great with no problems. I would trust this truck to go 1,000 miles tommorrow if I had to. It has never left us stranded once in the 20 years. It just had new front brake pads installed this summer. The drivers side window stopped working about 2 weeks ago, it just needs a new motor which won't be a costly fix. Heater blows nice hot air, but I believe the AC needs a recharge, I haven't tried it in years so I'm sure it needs something. Tranny works great, it clunks a bit when you shift it into reverse but it's NOT worn out, when you shift from reverse to drive there is almost no play, it's right there right away. It shifts through all gears great. I would say the transmission has an easy 80-100,000 left in it. This truck has never been driven hard in it's life. It has been stored outside quite a bit however so there are spots of rust here and there but I highly doubt you will find a more solid reliable truck for the year it is. If you need a truck to haul a trailer, this will pull about anything you want to pull. It's mostly just a daily driver now and I would say it gets about 11-13 mpg in town maybe more on the highway. Comes with a spare tire. Has dual gas tanks, on one of the sides the guage doesn't want to work but you can still fill it up and use it the guage just doesnt work, I only use one side anyway so I never fixed it. Truck has dual exhaust, very nice sound, but not at all loud. All four tires are in fairly good shape, and have lots of miles left. The truck burns about a quart of oil every 1,500+ miles, I usually add one quart between oil changes which isn't bad compared to most older vehicles. There are NO leaks in this truck. The steering wheel is tilt so you can adjust it and it works great, where it pivots up and down, you can lift the steering wheel up like 3/4 of an inch or so where it tilts in that joint, it affects NOTHING, and is a real common occurence in chevy trucks, I was told its just like a little pin and a very easy fix (not required) has nothing to do with safety, and like I said it affect absolutely nothing. Also the drivers side of the seat is a little ripped up, but its been that way for years and it hasn't gotten worse or is even close to the point of being bad. Also I forgot to add that this truck has factory cruise control and it works flawless. Cigarette lighter works, as well as all the lights, radio, cassette player, wipers, washer fluid etc... It's also had brand new plugs, wires and some vaccum lines replaced very recently. Good luck to everybody and happy bidding on a nice truck!!! Whoever gets this truck will have a very reliable ride.
