This is my 6th BMW and my third E46 series, second wagon I have owned. I am a passionate BMW owner and feel this is a good example of a reasonably priced E46, all wheel drive wagon. If you have looked much, the all wheel drives are hard to locate. I purchased from another BMW CCA member and it was going to serve as a third car. However, I found another vintage BMW that I cannot pass up, so this one has to go. I set the reserve low as I want to move it quickly because I already paid cash for my other vehicle. Overall, the car is in great shape. The previous owner was also a passionate long time BMW owner and this car has been very well maintained. It has all synthetic fluids changed about 3k miles ago. It is all wheel drive, with new/upgraded wheel package and new tires. Many of the small wear items including all the air filters, cabin filters, transmission, fuel, oil, front and rear wipers and arms, front windshield plastic wind diffuser/seal, and a complete tune up service have been done. The only thing mechanically wrong with the car is the Oil level sensor in the bottom of the pan started to go out. This is a known issue with these cars and the only reason I have not replaced it is because it showed up right after the last oil change. Next oil change it can be replaced for $75. It just sometimes lights up the oil light on the dash but then goes away after about 10 seconds. This has happened with two other E46’s I have owned. You can maintain this car fairly inexpensively if you do a little work on your own, and E46 Fanatics website has many “how to” articles and explanations. I recommend it for anyone buying an E46. The car has just about every option for this year. Steptronic transmissions, AWD, Power Memory seats, heated seats, rear cargo cover/net, rear power outlet, remote entry/alarm, one touch windows, black leather, real wood burl dash trim, CD changer, complete tool kit and full spare. The car isn't perfect, it has its share of nicks, dings and rubs. The right rear window works fine from the seat, but it only rolls down from the drivers side and not up, must be done from the passenger seat. This is about a $100.00 fix as well, but it is not necessary unless you must absolutely roll up from the driver’s side. Cosmetically very clean seats, etc, as you can tell by pictures, the only flaw is the headliner sags in a few areas, but I never got around to fixing it. But all in all, it is in good condition, I took detailed pictures but I am happy to take more upon request. Feel free to contact me for questions. I have a clear Texas Title, and the car has current Texas plates and inspection (Smog passed) and Washington passed emissions 30 days ago.
